
Sukhjeen Kaur
Founder of Chronically Brown
Sukhjeen is a disabled South Asian woman aiming to support and represent people with similar lived experiences. She is the Founder of Chronically Brown, a non-profit organisation that works to counter the stigma of disability within the South Asian community and decrease isolation for those living with disability. Sukhjeen was shortlisted for the ‘Campaigner of the Year' award from the British Diversity Awards in 2022.
She is passionate about diversity and inclusion within the wider disability movement. Sukhjeen has successfully delivered talks at conferences for several organisations including Galapagos, Patients as Partners Europe, and the University of Oxford. She has also been featured on ITV news, BBC Asian Network and The Independent for her activism. Sukhjeen’s advocacy work has led her to be widely recognised as an ‘expert on diverse representation and intersectional communities'.
Away from her professional role at Chronically Brown, Sukhjeen enjoys digital art illustration and is a self-proclaimed house plant mom.
