I'm Nazia Mukadam , a compassionate and dedicated professional driven by my vision of improving the lives of individuals in the disability sector. With eleven years of experience, I have become an advocate for inclusive communities and equal opportunities. My professional journey began eleven years ago, as a Finance Officer providing support with invoicing as an AAT accredited Accounting technician, before developing within the first three years to become the team leader of employment advice and guidance at Purple Direct Payment Support Service. By harnessing my expertise in the areas of analysis and research, I am empowered to provide a thorough and intentional service to Direct Payment holders and our team alike. Currently as the team leader of employment, advice and guidance at Purple Direct Payment Support Service I am privileged to contribute towards our unified vision of providing disabled individuals with greater freedom and flexibility to live their lives the way they wish to. At Purple Direct Payment Support Service we provide assistance in managing Direct Payments, employing their own Personal Assistants through our innovative “Purple Match” service, a full calendar of Peer Support, trainings and much more.
Purple Match
Purple Match is a matching service and register of Personal Assistants (PAs), bringing together both new and existing PAs who are keen to support disabled people who are in receipt of a Direct Payment through their Local Authority. PAs can enrol with Purple Match to gain access to work as well as being able to network with other PAs. Our goal is to connect Direct Payment (DP) Holders and Personal Assistants to make it easier for PA’s to access work and ensure the DP Holder can get the care and support they need quickly.
